The processor Core 2 extreme QX9650 (3.0 GHz) did not pass to new C1 stepping . But here this processor already reached 6.0 GHz frequency and in test SuperPI it has 7,453 seconds. Today in XtremeSystems appeared immediately two achievements , which used the processor Core 2 extreme QX9650 in its extreme experiments. First, German overclocker was able to run SuperPI 1M at 6114 MHz frequency  . A similar overclock was ensured by the motherboard Foxconn MARS, for processor cooling liquid nitrogen was used. Super pi was calculated in 7,609 seconds. This is the second place in this category of tests.
