The antivirus company Doctor Web reported the detection of malicious software Linux.Ekoms.1. This Trojan able to take screenshots and upload files on the infected machine and execute commands remotely.
After loading the machine, the virus creates its copy in a folder, and then begins with an interval of 30 seconds "to take" screen, keeping the data in the format JPG or BMP and passing them to the remote server .
One of the streams created by the Trojan also infected computer generates a list of filters for file names. These files are searched in the temporary folder, where, if necessary, the malicious code is loaded from a remote server.
In addition, the virus is able to record sound from a microphone, although experts say the possibility is hardly ever used. At present, the virus has already been added to the signature database of Dr.Web for Linux.
