Former Director of interaction with the community, Jono Bacon, Canonical, who now works for the same positions in GitHub, made an interesting proposal relating to Linux and OS X. The idea is to create a hybrid desktop that would use the familiar tools of Linux operating system from Cupertino.
Bacon said he sees the system with desktop GNOME Shell, the necessary tools for the terminal and graphic programs for GNOME 3. Adding new packages is invited to implement with DEB or RPM-repositories. As conceived by Bacon, it will allow users to popularize Linux among OS X. Related Products :
