Developers from Piranha Bytes are preparing for the release of the role-playing game ELEX, which is very different from the other games of the company.  We are talking about the projects of  Gothic and Risen series.  The atmosphere of ELEX in equal proportions combines elements of science fiction and classical fantasy.  This immediately becomes noticeable already by the description of the local characters.  Judge for yourself: the heroes of ELEX can deftly handle not only the usual swords, shields, bows and axes for fantasy, but they are able to take on an automatic, shotgun or even a rifle with an optical sight, if necessary.   The developers have published a two-minute video - prologue game.  Unfortunately, the most expensive CGI here was not found.  Piranha Bytes confined herself to dense cutting beautiful pictures, assembled together on the principle of an animated comics.   Now, in fact, about the very prehistory of the game.  Briefly, all these machines and spears can peacefully exist within the boundaries of one universe "thanks to" the fall of the comet.  The planet Magelan, on which the action ELEX will occur, after the fall of the comet began to disturb earthquakes, storms and other natural disasters. All those who managed to adapt to the new life conditions  on the planet Magelan had to adapt and use weapons of various types for their own protection.
