The new g92 chip revision will be used not only for GeForce 9800 GX2 video cards , but also in new one chip solutions, which work at higher frequencies. The geForce 9800 GX2 has the G 92-450 while the geForce 8800 GTS 512 mb has the G 92-400. NVIDIA can release video card on base of one additional g92 chip revision . The references about it appeared in beta- version drivers forceWare 174.13. New revision is called G 92-420, and theoretically it falls between GeForce 8800 GTS (G 92-400) and GeForce 9800 GX2 (G 92-450). G 92-420 chip will possess certain combination of qualities between the low energy consumption and high frequency potential.  In the same drivers there is references about the video cards GeForce 9800 GX2 and GeForce 9400 GS. The Last one will be based on 65 nm g98 chip , which at present is used for the production Of geForce 8400 GS video card . Related Products : | ||
