Intel company tried to actively move with turbo memory technology  , the original capacity of the proposed SSD- devices was low (512 MB and 1 GB) . So many producers are not interested to add intel turbo memory support  in their products. In order to interest user and producers, Intel prepares the 2 and even 4- GB version SSD module turbo memory, which will be much more effective with readyBoost and ReadyDrive in Windows vista . Intel turbo memory, let us recall, will reduce the time necessary for starting applications in Windows vista, read/write operations are also accelerated, energy consumption are reduced . However, the effectiveness of small SSD- modules as Turbo memory was not so high or generally imperceptible; therefore mobile PC producers do not hurry to equip their products with this technology. In this year intel plans to present more capacious,  2 and 4- GB version  (Intel turbo memory 1.7), and this means that the operation speed of readyBoost and ReadyDrive functions will become more noticeable.
