Inno3D company has demonstrated a new air cooling system iChill, which will be used on the video card manufacturer for NVIDIA GPUs the new generation, in particular on the GeForce GTX 1080 and 1070 GTX.
A new cooling system will have two versions: iChill X3 and iChill X4. The first can be called the traditional - it includes a massive radiator of 123 aluminum plates pierced by an unknown number of heatpipes and three 92-mm Scythe fan with low noise levels.
iChill X4 is characterized by having on the side of the additional fan 50 mm. This fan is located next to the power system components, which have their own heat pipes, which should provide a much better cooling of the power system. This concept is called APCS (Active Power Cooling System).
Furthermore, on the side of the cooling system will be iChill LED graphic processor load indicator. Also, a new cooling system incorporates a reinforcing metal plate, which will cover the entire back side of the card. Related Products :
