As it was planned, intel company released some four core 45- nm processors penryn q9xxx, such as core 2 Extreme QX9750 and QX9775 . In Japanese retail it is already possible to get this powerful processor . core 2 Extreme QX9750 is intended for Skulltrail platform .  On general intel skulltrail platform is sold in the form of finished PC, but now it is possible to build Skulltrail- system alone .  Core 2 Extreme QX9775 is intended for installation in LGA 771 socket, This processor is released using 45- nm technical process , it is equipped with 12 MB cache and operates at 3,2 GHz frequency (FSB 1600 MHz) with voltage 1,35 v and TDP=150 W. The price of this processor in retail is 1715 dollars ; which is certainly higher than the wholesale price.  As motherboard user can select between ASUSTeK Z7S WS or Intel D5400XS.
