The author of The Motley Fool has found circumstantial evidence that Intel will master the 7-nm process later than expected last year.
Source refers to one of the ads on the job at Intel research center in India, produced on the technological standards of less than 10 nm. While last year this ad contained a direct reference to the 7-nm process technology and the beginning of its implementation in 2020, it is now increasingly blurred. Firstly, instead of 7-nm process referred to abstract "process technologies with the standards of less than 10 nm," as well as an interim milestone in 2022 is mentioned.
Authors suggest that the use of 10-nm process technology from Intel will be mass production until 2021 - then can appear the first 7-nm processors using proven within the 10-nm technology architecture. And already in 2022 to 7-nm technology will be transferred to the new architecture. Related Products :
