Microsoft has started to use the Hello Windows software module for simplified and secure authentication at login Windows.
The module uses the device for biometric user authentication: scanners, iris, fingerprint sensors, cameras for face recognition, or patterns, drawings vein scanners and more. Reliability with similar authentication systems can be questioned, but it's still better than a system password " or a set of numbers "12345".
As it became known this week, Apple iPhone smartphones can already be used as a gadget to pass logon to a PC running Windows 10. This can also be done with the help of smartphones running Windows 10, but the number of the lucky owners of such devices is almost notably against the background of a huge Apple smartphone mass.
Actually, to enter the PC using the iPhone requires a special software tool RSA SecurID. To pass the logon on the PC wired connection with a smartphone is not required - just connect the devices via a trusted wireless network. RSA module on your smartphone recognizes correctly entered gesture as the password and completes boot Windows 10 desktop. This procedure will require some training, but soon, probably next year, input using the Apple smartphone in to a PC running Windows 10 will be a regular solution of the Hello module Windows.
