AMD to the end of March will release two models 65 nm dual core processors athlon 64 X2 5600+ (2.9 GHz) and 4600+ (2.4 GHz) .
Studying today the list of supported processors for one aSRock motherboard , it was possible to find references about several new models brisbane processors . Those processor will be announced soon ; therefore ASRock injected their support at the BIOS level .
First , the processor athlon 64 X2 5600+ (ADO5600IAA5DO), which is based on G2 stepping , operates at 2.9 GHz frequency , and it is equipped with 2 X 512 KB cache in the second level. Brisbane Processors cannot have 2 X 1 mb cache in the second level; therefore the frequency of this model was increased by 100 MHz relative to the previous version athlon 64 X2 5600+ (2.8 GHz) on 90 nm core windsor. Note in the second quarter AMD will present the processor athlon 64 X2 5800+ (3.0 GHz) on 65 nm core brisbane.
We also find a references about the processor athlon 64 X2 4600+ (2.4 GHz). For some reasons this processor ( marking ADO4600IAA5DO ) was mentioned twice : We deal here with different version. AMD Price- list already show both new processors .
It is possible to note that the Athlon 64 X2 5600+ (2.9 GHz) has two energy versions: with TDP level not more than 89 W (ADA5600IAA5DO) and with TDP level not more than 65 W (ADO5600IAA5DO).
Furthermore, the list has some economical dual cores processors series athlon 4x50e with TDP level not more than 45 W. Related Products :
