Announcement of quarter results for Apple's rarely complete without a mention of the geographical markets in which revenue growth was outstanding from the general trend. During the quarter, the list of growing countries consist of Japan, Turkey, Russia, Thailand, Vietnam, Latin America and the Middle East. If we talk directly about the popularity of the iPhone, Apple executives on the results of the last quarter marked Canada, Latin America, Western, Central and Eastern Europe, South Asia, Middle East and India. In the latter case, Apple sees a good potential for the emergence of a middle class capable of buying the brand smartphones, because now, more than half of India's population is under the age of 25 years.
Moreover, according to the results of 2016 fiscal year, iPhone sales volume in India increased by 50% compared with the previous year, and Apple believes that this is only the beginning. In general, Apple gets almost two-thirds of revenue outside the United States, and for the past two years, the strengthening of the US dollar against a basket of currencies has reached 15%. The company tried to compensate the corresponding loss not only by higher prices for products (as happened two years ago in the Russian retail), but also measures to reduce costs. Now, according to Apple CFO, the company managed to almost completely offset the losses from the strengthening of the US dollar. Related Products :
