Fifteen years ago, in 1993  appeared the first processor Pentium with 60 MHz frequency  - it was presented on 22 March; therefore the unique anniversary of this trade mark was in Saturday. in 1993 the trade mark Pentium got a large success . Pentium processors was suggested  as better than any competitive solution. Let us note that in 1993 in the same motherboard it was possible to install the processors Intel, AMD, Cyrix and NexGen. Later ,  Pentium got the suffix MMX, after change in design appeared the Pentium II, then Pentium  III… Finally, the processors Pentium IV with netBurst architecture  . The netBurst architecture proved to be inefficient , and the release of processors conroe presented a new trade mark core 2 Duo. However,  Pentium survived in budget segment -  now Pentium  is called inexpensive dual cores processors with 1 mb cache in the second level. Related Products :
