TSMC was supposed to begin production of 10-nm processors A10X technology for next-generation iPad tablet, due out in March, but now the timing of Apple devices announcement may be revised due to problems with the release of 10-nm processors. For smartphones, iPhone series 8 release 10-nm processors A11 should begin in the second quarter of 2017, and it is difficult to judge how the current situation will impact on Apple's plans.
Qualcomm has already announced the launch of 10-nm processors Snapdragon 835 on the Samsung facilities. It was originally planned that the company they will make and Snapdragon processor 660 series, but now Qualcomm is reviewing plans, while maintaining binding to the 10-nm technology only Snapdragon processor 835. Processor 660 Series decided to put on a conveyor belt in 2017, but only with the use of 14-nm technologies.
