Back in September, MediaTek company unveiled its new chip Helio X30 , which is positioned as the world's first mobile processor using 10-nanometer process technology TSMC. The first smartphones based on Helio X30 will be available in the first half of next year.
According to GizmoChina, Helio X30 chip has a higher energy efficiency than its predecessors, and power compared with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820/821. Its mass production of 10-nanometer rules will be launched in the first quarter of 2017 at the facilities of the Taiwanese company TSMC. And the first smartphones with Helio X30 will be released in the second quarter. It is rumored that one of the first Helio X30 in their new smartphones establish Meizu, Oppo and Vivo.
Recall, Helio X30 SoC platform includes eight cores and a quad-core Cortex graphics controller PowerVR 7XTP. The structure 10 cores processor includes two Cortex-A73 cores with a clock speed of 2.8 GHz quad-core Cortex-A53 clocked at 2.3 GHz quad-core Cortex-A35 clocked at 2.0 GHz. Helio X30 supports up to 8 GB of RAM (LPDDR4X-1866), flash drives UFS 2.1, LTE Cat.10 with download speeds of 450 Mbit / s, as well as cameras with resolutions up to 28 megapixels. Related Products :
