The new flagship smartphone Samsung Galaxy S8 depending on the region will be based on a processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 or Exynos 8895.
The new processor Exynos 8895, like the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835, will be released on 10-nanometer process technology. Exynos 8895 will be released in two versions. The composition of one of them (Exynos 8895M) will include four M2 cores with a clock speed of 2.5 GHz quad-core Cortex-A53 clocked at 1.7 GHz, while the second version (Exynos 8895V) will receive four M2 cores with a clock speed of 2.3 GHz and four cores Cortex-A53 with a frequency of 1.7 GHz. will be equipped with LTE-modem with support for LTE Cat.16 and graphics accelerator Mali-G71, running at a clock frequency of 550 MHz.
Exynos 8895 as the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835, will receive the support 4K-display, memory LPDDR4 and embedded flash drives UFS 2.1. Appearance of the first smartphones based on Exynos 8895 and Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 is scheduled for the second quarter of 2017.
As for the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835, it will consist of cores Kryo, divided into two clusters with a clock speed of 3 GHz and 2.4, and Adreno 540 graphics controller and LTE-modem Cat.16 support. Related Products :
