The analyst firm Jon Peddie Research (JPR) continues to reconstruct a picture of the behavior of graphics card market in the fourth quarter 2016. In the previous report the company told that in general on the GPU market, including integrated solutions, the share in the supply of redistributed in favor of AMD and NVIDIA solutions, while Intel reduced its presence to below 60%. New research shows that the supply of graphics cards as independent board (AIB, add-in-board ) increased compared
to the third quarter 2016 (+ 5.6%) and in comparison with the fourth quarter of 2015 (+ 21%). This desktop PC shipments in the quarterly comparison increased by 19.4%, and decreased by 10.9% year .
The share of AMD's graphics cards in quarterly comparison declined slightly (-0.3%), while the share of NVIDIA graphics cards for the quarter also increased slightly (+ 0.3%). But compared with the fourth quarter of 2015 the share of AMD graphics cards increased from 21.6% to 29.5%. During the same period the proportion of NVIDIA cards was reduced from 78.3% to 70.5%. The share of the third supplier of video cards - the company S3 Graphics (owned by Taiwanese company VIA) - a few thousandths
of a percent, and just did not hit the above statistics. The Canadian company Matrox has also disappeared from the horizon, as in 2015, switched to AMD video cards.

Also it should be noted quite a large percentage of high-end video card category (for enthusiasts), the cost of which has grown to incredible quantities in recent years.
