Recently introduced AMD processors have firmly captured the minds and souls of the entire computer community.
Indonesian resource JagatOC published detailed material devoted to the study of the overclocking potential of ten AMD Ryzen R7 1700 processors.
Ten AMD Ryzen 7 1700 processors, taken from regular retail, were tested at voltages of 1.25, 1.30, 1.35 and 1.40 V. As a test bench, we used a bundle from the motherboard ASUS Crosshair VI Hero (BIOS version 5704) G.Skill TridentZ DDR4- 3600C16D 2x8GB (3200 MHz), Galax GeForce GT 710 video card, Toshiba Q300 Pro SSD, Corsair AX1200i power supply, Noctua NH-U12S cooling system, SE-AM4 + Noctua NF-F12 iPPC-3000 and Windows 10 Pro operating system 64-bit.
It turned out that with almost one hundred percent certainty you can count on achieving 4 GHz or close to them values.
Note that all processors have reached frequency of 3800-3900 MHz at a voltage of 1.25 V and the subsequent frequency increase with a very serious increase in voltage was miserable.
However, do not forget that before us - the very first steppings and in the future the technical process will definitely be debugged, which will accordingly affect the improvement of private capacity. Related Products :
