The digital distribution service GOG.com, which is desperately trying to resist a giant competitor from Valve, will soon receive a major update for its GOG Galaxy application. At the moment, the beta testing of the client is over, and its final version will receive the index 1.2. Further on the text we will try to tell about the main innovations of GOG Galaxy version 1.2.
First, the application will receive a cloud storage system. It will work not only with new, but also with old games.
Secondly, GOG Galaxy version 1.2 will be replenished with special tools for measuring system performance, among which there is always a place for a frame counter. The user of the client will also be able to take screenshots and share successes in obtaining achievements in a particular game. Thirdly, the new GOG service client will have an impressive set of various settings. The player will be able to translate the program into a so-called sleep mode, which reduces the load on the processor
and increases the battery life (if it's a laptop).
Finally, in GOG Galaxy 1.2 there will be a special pop-up window that will be called even during the game. Add an updated chat system and an improved achievement system here - and get the full set of announced improvements for the GOG customer.
At the moment, the updated GOG Galaxy is completing the final stage of testing. The final version of the program will be available in the very near future. Related Products :
