Intel clearly regulated the number of processors. For example, they present not more than two models series core 2 Duo e4xxx, and not more than two models series Pentium e2xxx. This allows to avoid internal competition between processors families .
Recently , Intel ceased to follow this principle. For example, the price position $133 occupy two processors with different clock frequencies: Core 2 Duo e4700 (2.6 GHz) and Core 2 Duo e4600 (2.4 GHz). After deciding to introduce some order in the Price- list, intel company in the beginning of April declared about the removal from production of processors core 2 Duo e4500 (2.2 GHz) and Pentium e2140 (1.6 GHz).  The removed from production processors are based on M0 stepping core allendale (65 nm). It will be possible to order both processors prior to first August of the present year.  The last party of box processors ( both models ) will be dispatched on 31 October, 2008. OEM Processors will be supplied up to 6 April 2009 . Related Products : | ||
