From the pages of news resources the topic of the forthcoming sale of Toshiba's solid-state memory assets is not going away, but these measures may not be enough to optimize the activities of the Japanese company and cover growing debts. As reported by the Nikkei agency, Toshiba is currently considering the sale of a business for the production of television equipment. This brand has already concluded an agreement with Turkish Vestel on the right to sell its own TVs under the Toshiba brand in the European market. After that, Toshiba focused on the domestic market of Japan.
In the role of potential buyers are now Vestel and Hisense. The latter is known for its television equipment in the Asian region. The deal should be concluded by March of next year, but it will bring Toshiba, according to sources, only a few hundred million dollars. Since June 2016, the Japanese corporation has transferred Midea Group rights to sell household appliances in the European region under the brand Toshiba. Japanese technology ceases to be Japanese, such are the harsh realities of our time.
