At the storage networking world conference , AMD company declared about the accessibility of first (Reference design kit, RDK) on base of AMD athlon processor , made on storage bridge bay specifications (SBB) 2.0. This RDK can simplify the development process to standardized platform developers  . According to AMD opinion , this product will help in compiling the energetically economical, highly productive network initial level. RDK support network attached storage (NAS) architecture , Storage area networks (SAN) and Unified storage, and also the interfaces gigE, 10GigE, Fiber channel and Infiniband. Simultaneously with RDK release , AMD declared about processors for built-in applications. AMD released the following dual cores model AMD athlon X2 with lowered energy consumption: 3400e, 3600+ and 4200+ (22, 35 and 35 W).
