Colleagues from the Italian site Bits & Chips , who were the first to report Intel's intentions to release the 12-core Skylake-X processor, now share new information about the fate of the LGA 2066 platform. According to informed sources, Skylake-X processors will be able to host the Skylake- EP, among which there will also be models with 12 and 16 cores, respectively.
