As we know, the first announced products based on the GV100 GPU were two DGX-1 and HGX-1 shelf modules, as well as the DGX Station workstation. In addition to these comprehensive solutions, NVIDIA will supply accelerators based on the GV100 in the form of familiar PCIe expansion cards. At the moment, it is planned to release a single-slot adapter with TDP at 150W and a two-slot adapter with a full package of capabilities and a maximum TDP of 300W.
Judging by the presented images, both versions are cooled by standard rack cooling systems with air pumping through the case. The specifications of both adapters are unknown. And if the older solution can be tied to the GPU GV100 in a configuration with a TDP of 300 W (subject to the activation of 80 multiprocessor clusters), then a 150-watt single-slot adapter remains a mystery with seven seals. However, NVIDIA notes that the performance of the 150-W version will be "close" and even "very close" to the performance of the 300-W version.
