The schedule of retail copies Intel Skylake-X and Kaby Lake-X processors in hands to customers was officially announced on June 19 . Receiving orders began on the same day, and the first commodity processors had to get into stores on Monday, June 26. We have to admit that this did not happen, and colleagues from the Japanese website AKIBA PC Hotline did not see the product processors of these series even on Tuesday, the next day.
If you believe Japanese shops, potential customers of LGA 2066 processors need to be patient: Skylake-X and Kaby Lake-X are expected to arrive in local retail not earlier than mid-July. But in motherboards with a LGA 2066 connector there is no shortage, and future owners of compatible processors have time to prepare and make a reasonable choice.
