Recently, we reported, that eaglelake chipset will get the corrected revision A2 , witch will fix the PCI express x16 mode operation problems , the deliveries of these chipsets models already began. Revision A2 will become final for chipsets P45, P43, G45 and G43, and the chipsets q45 and Q43 will be released within A3 revision . This new revision will raise the graphic core frequency and support video decoding hardware acceleration ( VC-1 ). Motherboard producers will prepare their products on base of this new chipsets during May. This will allow Intel to present p45, P43, G45 and G43 chipset at the beginning of June, during exhibition computex 2008. Q45 and Q43 chipsets will appear at the end of June. Note that in some European stores , motherboard on base of chipset intel p45 already appeared for 113 Euros. Those motherboards have two slots PCI express x16 (PCI express x8 + PCI express x8) . Some models will even propose three slots PCI express x 16- this configuration will support crossFire X technology . Users can select between DDR-2 and DDR- 3 support . Furthermore, Intel p45 will be the first mass chipset with PCI express 2.0 support . | ||
