3DCenter.org collectively collects information about Radeon RX Vega varieties, and German colleagues managed to extract information from one of AMD's partners about the stages of preparing these video cards for the announcement. Without going into details, we will note the main stages of this process. Back in early June, AMD partners received specifications for the components that are needed to create the Radeon RX Vega. Working engineering samples of video cards should be ready by the middle of this month. It's hard to argue with this, especially given AMD's intentions to send one or more reference design video cards to Budapest next week.
By the second August AMD should supply partners with the final BIOS version for Radeon RX Vega video cards, but the date of the serial production of the partner version of the video card is not specified. It is easy to assume that it will start before the end of August. Thus, the diversity in the range of Radeon RX Vega will have to wait not so long. However, this information still requires verification. At the time of publication, we only had data from knowledgeable sources at the end of June. Then AMD's plans to work with partners over non-original versions of Radeon RX Vega still did not have clear outlines.
