The planned on 20 April Intel processors prices reduction will lower the  prices of core 2 Quad q6700 (2.66 GHz) twice. Let us thus, examine the basic changes in official Intel Price- list , fixed yesterday. The extreme edition processors section was unexpectedly supplemented by : Core 2 Extreme QX6700 (2.66 GHz), Core 2 Extreme x6800 (2.93 GHz) and Pentium extreme edition 965 (3.73 GHz).   Four core processor core 2 Quad fell in price : Core 2 Quad q9550 (2.83 GHz, 2 x 6 mb.) - > $530 (0%); Core 2 Quad q9450 (2.66 GHz, 2 X 6 mb.) - > $316 (0%); Core 2 Quad q9400 (2.66 GHz, 2 X 3 mb.) - > $266 (0%); Core 2 Quad q9300 (2.5 GHz, 2 X 3 mb.) - > $266 (0%); Core 2 Quad q6700 (2.66 GHz, 2 x 4 mb.): $530 - > $266 (50%); Core 2 Quad q6600 (2.4 GHz, 2 X 4 mb.): $266 - > $224 (16%). Here is the change observed in dual core sector : Core 2 Duo e8300 (2.83 GHz, 6 mb., 1333 MHz) - > $163; Core 2 Duo e7200 (2.53 GHz, 3 mb., 1066 MHz) - > $133; Core 2 Duo e6850 (3.0 GHz, 4 mb., 1333 MHz): $266 - > $183 (31%); Core 2 Duo e4600 (2.4 GHz, 2 mb., 800 MHz): $133 - > $113 (15%); Pentium e2200 (2.2 GHz, 1 mb, 800 MHz): $84 - > $74 (12%); Pentium e2180 (2.0 GHz, 1 mb, 800 MHz): $74 - > $64 (14%); Celeron e1400 (2.0 GHz, 512 KB, 800 MHz) - > $53; Celeron e1200 (1.6 GHz, 512 KB, 800 MHz): $53 - > $43 (19%). The budget processors celeron also get the reduced price: Celeron 440 (2.0 GHz, 512 KB, 800 MHz): $53 - > $44 (17%); Celeron 430 (1.8 GHz, 512 KB, 800 MHz): $44 - > $34 (23%). Their mobile version : Celeron 570 (2.66 GHz, 1 mb., 533 MHz) - > $134; Celeron 560 (2.13 GHz, 1 mb., 533 MHz): $134 - > $107 (20%); Celeron 550 (2.0 GHz, 1 mb., 533 MHz): $107 - > $86 (20%). Four core xeon processors : Xeon x3230 (2.66 GHz, 2 X 4 mb., 1066 MHz): $530 - > $266 (50%); Xeon x3220 (2.4 GHz, 2 X 4 mb., 1066 MHz): $266 - > $224 (16%).
