NVIDIA is going to release the integrated chipset MCP79, which will propose directX 10 support and hybrid SLI technology . In this summer NVIDIA will present the mobile version MCP79, which due to the 55 nm technical process will be compact and economical. Furthermore, such chipset will consist on one microcircuit, which simplify the motherboard layout and will lower its prime cost. Besides directX 10 and Hybrid SLI support , MCP79 chipset series will propose support to HDMI 1.2 interface , the system bus frequencies is 1066 MHz, memory type DDR 2-800 or DDR 3-1333, interface SATA-300 with driveCache technology (analog to Intel turbo memory), gigabit network controller, HDA sound , and also up to 20 lines PCI express 2.0. The chipsets MCP79 will be released in six mobile version, which are characterized by their functional possibilities. MCP79-SLI, for example, will support SLI technology . During June NVIDIA intends to present its mobile chipsets series MCP79 , when Intel will announces its chipsets for the new mobile platform centrino 2 (Montevina). According to some data, it is possible also to adapt MCP79 chipset for the promising VIA processors ( isaiah generation ) ; Related Products : | ||
