Recently intel company released some new dual core processors celeron, and in the desktop segment appeared the model celeron e1400 with 2.0 GHz frequency . Dual core celeron processors are not limited to desktop sector, since acer company already proposed notebooks on base of mysterious dual core processor celeron t1400 (1.73 GHz).
This month such processor was prescribed on intel site . Producer reports that this processor is released on 45 nm technology. Two core operate at 1733 MHz frequency and divide the cache in the second level with 512 KB capacity . The frequency of system bus is equal to 533 MHz.
Celeron t1400 (1.73 GHz) processor is based on M0 stepping , which in this case relates to 65 nm core. The CPUID value is equal 06FDh as in desktop 65 nm processors.
The decrease of cache capacity in the second level to 512 KB will negatively affect the performance level , but for some inexpensive mobile computers it is already good to get a dual core processor. Related Products :
