Today we tested the newest Nvidia for windows XP and windows Vista (Both in the 32 Bit versions) .
System setup :
E8500 @ 4 Ghz (500x9) , 1.22 v
Asus P5k deluxe
OCZ FlexXLC Dual Channel @ 1000 Mhz (4-4-4-15) 2.2 v
2 X 320 Gb raid 0 Disks
XFX 8800 GT @ (720/1780/950 Mhz) .
OS : Windows XP Sp2 (32 Bits) and Windows Vista ultimate Sp1 (32 Bits)

Windows XP driver :
169.21 forceware whql , 169.44 forceware Beta , 174.74 forceware Beta and nvidia omega xp2k 216921 (Based on 169.21 forceware whql ) .
Windows Vista driver :
169.25 forceware whql , 169.44 forceware Beta , 174.74 forceware Beta , 175.12 forceware Beta and nvidia omega vista 116925 (Based on 169.25 forceware whql ) .
We tested using :
3D2006 Sm 2.0 and Sm 3.0 as synthetic benchmark in addition to Crysis and Assassins Creed as real game test .For Crysis We used Crysis Benchmark Tool while for Assassins Creed we used FARPS and recorded the average frame rate .
Note : For windows XP we used the DX 9 version of Crysis (High) and Assassins Creed (Max detail ) while for windows Vista we used the DX 10 version (very high for Crysis ) and (Max detail ) for Assassins Creed .
Here is the Results under Windows XP :

The latest beta version Show the highest score .

Same as above .

Syntactic tests where confirmed in real game , 174.74 forceware beta is the fastest driver .

Assassins Creed Show also a similar result . The latest beta driver gives a nice boost , about 10 % over the current driver .
Here is the Results under Windows Vista :

The same situation is observed under windows vista . The latest beta driver look as the fastest.

The same as above .

Again 175 drivers confirm its superiority with about 10% performance boot .

And Finally a Clean 10% in Assassins Creed for The latest beta driver over the current WHQL .
It is clear that Nvidia is working on faster driver , We hope that they will continue their hard work .
