Today we had some additional data about the performance of AMD ATI radeon HD 4870, equipped with 512 MB video memory. Our associate was able to test this graphic accelerator, whose graphic processor functioned at 800 MHz frequency , and GDDR5 memory worked at 3,4 GHz frequency.

The test system appeared as follows:

Processor: Intel core 2 Extreme QX9650, 3 GHz
Motherboard: ASUS P5E3 deluxe
Memory: 2 X 1 GB OCZ DDR3 1333 MHz, latency 9-9-9-26
Hard disk: Western digital 250 GB, 16 MB. cache, SATA2, 7200 RP/min

Results in 3DMark06 and Crysis was :

The first radeon HD 4000 can appear already in the present month, it is possible to hope that the information is very true .

Yeah I agree, this is absoulte fake (and i\'m an ATi fan); the 9800 gx2 owns the hd 4870 by an average of 4 fps in dx10 very high settings 1920*1080 (9800 gx2 25 fps, hd 3870 20 fps). For now the 9800 gx2 is the fastest single card but there will be the 4870 x2 and will kick asses hehehe ;-)

It\'s not fake, people just can\'t handle the fact that Nvidia is fighting a losing battle because they constantly increase their pin-size while ATI increases their DDR for the same effect while keeping the heat down. Now shut the fuck up and if you don\'t trust the results go make your own reviews and let\'s see you take the time to do it.
