AMD 45 nm technological process will show up with deneb CPU , which immediately can raise the frequency Of phenom to 2.8 GHz with thermal packet 95 W and ensure support to DDR3 SDRAM.
The first processors phenom released on 45 nm technology, will appear in the end of this year. They will use the C stepping core . However, later, to the middle of 2009, will appear the following 45 nm core D stepping , which will obtain a number of new improvements. In particular, the cores cache size in the second level will be increased to 1 Mbytes. The important characteristic of 45 nm core second generation will become the possibility to associate some processor on one semiconductor chip. This will allow AMD to release the 8 core processors montreal .
