The logotypes update is not always connected with substantial changes in the company image , sometimes it is made as refresh of current product. For example, AMD regularly update video card logotypes on base of radeon chips . In this year, as reports associate radeon video card logotype will include the word premium.
Instead of (ATI radeon graphics) will appear (ATI radeon premium graphics).  The old logotype will remain for middle class video card , while the new one will be used in new generation video cards . We deal here with the radeon HD 48xx. A according to available data, after the radeon HD 4870 and Radeon HD 4850 release , AMD will continue to sell the radeon HD 38xx , simply such cards (HD 3870,3850 ...) will pass in the more accessible price niche :-) .
