AMD rejected the idea about the release of radeon HD 4850 version with GDDR5 memory - such video card would create some internal competition. Furthermore, we can ascertain that all graphical solutions from AMD with GDDR5 memory will be released after June, and Radeon HD 4850 will become the first product, which will appear in sale immediately after the announcement. Thus, let us transfer all known at the given moment characteristics of video card on base of RV770 chip : Radeon HD 4870 - > 55 nm technical process, frequency 850/1050/3870 MHz, 480 stream processors, 32 textural units, 16 units Rop's, 256- bit system bus, 1 Gb memory GDDR- 5, TDP is not more than 157 W, price $349; Radeon HD 4850 - > 55 nm technical process, frequency 625/825/2286 MHz, 480 stream processors, 32 textural units, 16 units Rop's, 256- bit system bus, 512 mb memory GDDR- 3, TDP is not more than 114 W, price $249. 	doubt the prices will be that high, most likely, the prices will be around $250-$300 for the 4870 and around $200-250 for the 4850.
