To the end of the current block , AMD company will present the four core processor phenom X4 9950 (2.6 GHz), which in the initial version will have a TDP value not more than 140 W. As we already noted , not all motherboards can work with this processor, even models on base of AMD 790FX chipset. Asus company last week published a press release, which reported about the readiness of some motherboard for this processor, which have TDP level not more than 140 W. In the list of compatible motherboard , we have the chipset NVIDIA nForce 780a SLI and AMD 790FX, but also modest products on base of NVIDIA geForce 8200/8300 or AMD 780G. Let us recall that the TDP level of phenom X4 processors will be reduced systematically within the 65 nm technology, and even phenom X4 9950 (2.6 GHz) will obtain a more economical version .
