Foxconn company presented the first motherboard series GREEN – G31MG- S. This mATX product is based on intel g31 chipset  with integrated video core intel GMA 3100 and support intel core 2 Quad and Core 2 Duo processors with up to 95 W TDP and  system buses frequency 1333 MHz.  This new motherboard includes its own technologies foxconn 3G, which reduce the energy consumption: GPS (Green power saving), God (Green on demand) and GSM (Green system mode).
Tests, made in foxconn laboratory , showed the energy savings of 68% for office PC. G31MG- S support dual-channel memory DDR2, includes integrated 7.1- channel HD-audio system, gigabit Ethernet- controller, four ports SATA II, eight ports USB 2.0, PCIe x16 and PCIe x1, and also two PCI- slots. Foxconn G31MG- S will be accessible during August on the retail price of approximately 80 dollars. Related Products : | ||

GPS reduces the energy consumption in the standby mode by up to 95%.
