VIA technologies company presented the mini- notebook VIA openBook. The mobile VIA ultra mobile platform, include the processor VIA C 7 M ULV , chipset VIA VX800 with an integrated graphic core. The core VIA chrome9 with directX 9.0 support can accelerate video decoding (hardware) in formats MPEG-2, MPEG-4, WMV9, VC1 and DivX.
The device is equipped with 8,9- inch screen. The screen resolution is 1024x600 pixels. The DDR2 memory capacity can reach 2 GB. The notebook has a multichannel sound system. The important special feature Of openBook is the presence of flexible internal interface, intended for wide-band adapter connection . At the given moment, there are two versions: in one are united Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and AGPS (optional), the secondly : wiMAX, HSDPA, or EV-DO/W -CDMa.
