ASUSTeK computer (ASUS) and Silicon image companies declared about the release of seven motherboards series ASUS P5Q, which use the HDD - controller silicon image steelVine siI5723. SiI5723 steelVine microcircuit support SATA in configurations RAID 1, RAID 0 and JBOD. The software drive xpert works in ez-Backup mode (RAID 1), in order to increase the reliability of data storage , SuperSpeed (RAID 0), allow to obtain the peak output disk system performance, and Normal mode (direct access to storages). All new motherboards series ASUS P5Q use the chipset intel p45/ICH 10R, which support FSB frequencies (1600, 1333, 1066, 800 MHz). The special feature of P5QC and P5Q3 deluxe models is the support of DDR3 memory , other motherboards are intended for DDR2 memory . Depending on models, those motherboards are equipped with four, three, two or one PCI express x16 slot . Moreover all those motherboards are equipped with network adapters gigabit ethernet and multichannel sound systems HD audio (7.1). | ||
