Yesterday we introduced the frequency characteristics of bloomfield processors .
Today we got some additional data : the TDP level of all three models bloomfield is entered in one niche - 130 W.
The cache capacity in all three bloomfield models will be identical: 64 KB cache in first level and 256 KB cache in the second level on each core, plus 8mb divided between core in the third level. The difference between bloomfield models will consist in the frequency of system bus QPI and the memory operation mode : in particular, high end models with 3.2 GHz frequency will have a system bus frequency QPI=6.4 GB/s, and support three-channel memory DDR 3-1333. Other two bloomfield models will be limited to the system bus frequency QPI=4.8 GB/s , and the memory will officially work only in the mode DDR 3-1066. .
Here is the result of bloomfield processor with 2.4 GHz frequency in Super PI 1M. The corresponding calculation is executed in 17,219 seconds. For comparison - the processor core 2 Duo e6600 will get similar result after overclock to 3.0 GHz. At 2.4 GHz frequency it executes the calculation in 21 second . Related Products :
