The video card geForce 9800 GTX+ is based on 55 nm g92b chip , which increases chances for successful overclock in comparison with previous 65 nm version geForce 9800 GTX. The default frequencies are increased from 675/1688 MHz to 738/1836 MHz, price grew up from $199 to $229 . The memory frequency remained as before, but here the 0.83 ns samsung microcircuit were replaced by 0.83 ns Hynix microcircuit . Passage on 55 nm technical process did not bring reduction in the energy consumption . Associate tested the maximum video card overclock and it corresponded to the frequencies 855/2200/2550 MHz. 55/175 MHz higher than the 65 nm version geForce by 9800 GTX. Not bad overclock, including the memory frequency. This result allow us to recognize that GeForce 9800 GTX+ has chances to overclock better than its predecessor. | ||
