The improvement of Crossfire technology drivers allow the combination of video card from the same generation. User, for example, could combine in one system the radeon HD 3870 and Radeon HD 3850. The union of two-chip and one chip video card was also allowed. However, the question now : Is it possible to combine video card on base of RV670 and RV770 chips in one system? Associate asserts that it will be possible to unite video card from these two generations in crossfire. The main exception is the memory capacity witch should be identical. To combine in one system the radeon HD 3870 X2 and Radeon HD 4850 is also possible, as associate promises. However, now this possibility is not provided. It will appear in the future. | ||
