In Q3 2008 AMD decided to produce three new phenom X4 models, two with  low TDP, and the third has a TDP=140 W.  Here we deal with the processor phenom X4 9950 (2.6 GHz) Black edition with the free multiplier. In Q4 AMD will release the processor phenom X4 9950 with the lowered to 125 W TDP level .Due to the limited compatibility of new AMD black edition processors with the existing motherboards AMD decided to set a low price for those processor. Until 7 July the price of both black version was $235 , and AMD now decided to lower the price Of phenom X4 9850 Black  edition to $205. On the following Monday we expect also a lowered prices of the remaining processors phenom X4 9xxx, but we should not expect a special generosities from AMD , since price are already at the lowest possible. Later the processor phenom X4 9850 Black edition will be replaced by the Phenom X4 9850 (2.5 GHz) with the limited multiplier Phenom X4 9950 Black edition marking is already known: HD995ZFAGHBOX and HD995FAJ4BGH. It is based on the previous B3 stepping, the hyperTransport frequency is equal to 4000 MHz, TDP value is 140 W. Simultaneously AMD will present two economical four core processors with TDP level  not more than 65 W: Phenom X4 9150e (1.8 GHz) and Phenom X4 9350e (2.0 GHz). Related Products :
