AMD released today the fastest 3d- card. Although this product will be avaible in 12 August (but AMD can consider faster release date), today the preliminary NDA was removed and we can talk opnly about those cards . Let us transfer the basic special features of those cards . Code name - R700; GPU - two 55- nm RV770, Core / shader frequencies 750/750 MHz; 2 x 10 SIMD core, which include 2 x 800 scalar ALU; 2 x 10 extural blocks; 2 x 40 blocks textural addressing; 2 x 40 blocks bilinear filtration; 2 x 16 blocks ROP; Memory - 2 X 1024 mb. GDDR5; frequency 900 (3600 effective) MHz; Memory bus- two 256- bits; Interface - PCI-Express x16; 2xDVI (Dual-Link/HDMI), TV-out; Hardware support to directX 10.1 and Shader model 4.1.
