Some time ago gigabyte company released the devices i -RAM, which allow to use memory modules as hard drive. The last product in this series became the i -RAM Box, witch allow to place up to 4 Gb DDR-400 memory in the free 5.25 case section . The supported interface is SATA-150 . At the beginning of this month ACARD Taiwan company reported its intentions to begin in August the deliveries of ANS-9010 and ANS-9010B devices, which allow to place data on 6-8 memory modules DDR2-800. These devices will ensure up to 48-64 Gb of disk space. This device will use SATA-300 interface . According to the producer statements , the device ensures the transmission speed 200 or 400 Mb/s . This disk is faster than classical hard drives and also solid-state disc. This device do not require any drivers installation. | ||
