GIGABYTE UNITED company declared about the release of eP45-Extreme motherboards, oriented to the amateurs of extreme overclock. Currently this series include the model GA -EP45T-EXTREme, which supports DDR3 memory , and the model GA -EP45-EXTREme, DDR2 memory . Both models are made on base of intel p45 express. Motherboards series EP45-EXTREME support multi-core intel processors with system bus frequency up to 1600 MHz , including the prepared on 45- nm technologies. Furthermore, those motherboards support ATI crossFireX technology , they are supplied with two interfaces PCI express 2.0 ( x 8)  and two local network interfaces . The cooling system GIGABYTE hybrid silent-Pipe is noiseless and effectively reduce the temperature of the north , south bridges and power transistors . Moreover the cooling system GIGABYTE hybrid silent-Pipe can be also used with water cooling systems. eP45-Extreme were supplied with light-emitting diode indicator Post codes and with signal light-emitting diode indicators of the overclocking conditions , increasing the supply voltage and temperature. When the processor and north bridge temperature are located in the range 61°C - 80°C, we have a green light-emitting diode, but when the temperature exceeds 80°C, we have a red light-emitting diode. GIGABYTE series eP45-Extreme adapt an integrated circuits for voltage regulating , which allow a wide control capabilities of supply voltage for the northern bridge and memory.   Furthermore, those hardware regulators ensure considerably a more sensitive voltage control , making possible experienced users to regulate the supply voltage with a step of only 20 mv (0,002 c) and to increase therefore the overclock effectiveness and the accuracy of control system parameters  . EP45 extreme is equipped with 12- phase power-supply system for the processor, and by the 2- phase modules for the north bridge and memory, which allow a stable supply to all computer components in any condition .
