We already reported that in the second-half of August Intel will release the 45 nm four core processor core 2 Quad Q8200 (2.33 GHz), whose wholesale cost will be about $200. Thus, this first budget 45 nm four core from intel will be presented on 31 August 2008 . The exact wholesale price of this processor will be equal to $224. Note the 65 nm processor core 2 Quad q6600 (2.4 GHz), now cost $193. It is amusing, but the 45 nm processor core 2 Quad q8200 (2.33 GHz) with lower frequency and smaller cache volume  (2 X 2 mb instead of 2 X 4 mb.) will cost more than its 65 nm predecessor.
