After ASUS P6T and gigabyte X58 motherboard, MSI presented their X58 version .According to our associate this MSI motherboard will be called ECLIPSES and will be equipped with 10 phase power system . These phases will be distributed between the CPU (6 Phase) Northbridge (2 Phases) and the RAM (2 Phase). This X58 motherboard will be intended for LGA 1366 socket (NEHALEM Core i7) processors . It will support also Crossfire-X on 2 x PCI6 Express 2.0 x16 and Audio X-Fi. The technology DrMOS– The Most Power-Efficient Shares for Power-Saving and Best Performance was developed in P45 motherboard with Gen.2 DrMOS, and now MSI expanded the DrMOS use to cover the QPI and Northbridge power supply, to provide superior power-saving, ultimate low temperature operation, and extreme performance profit. | ||
