AMD planned to present during November the energy-economical processors for desktop computers: Athlon 2650e Athlon X2 3250e. These products will be used in UVC computers (Ultra-Value client) , ultra-budget systems. The latter will be proposed by OEM- producers.
Athlon 2650e is a processor with 1,6 GHz frequency and TDP, equal only to 15 W. The athlon 3250e processor with 1,5 GHz frequency is characterized by a TDP equal to 22 W. Both solutions will be produced on 65- nm technical process and intended for OEM- company clients . Such companies as ASUS, Acer and Shuttle already discuss with AMD the possibility of designing their PC on base of new AMD CPU athlon 2650e and Athlon X2 3250e. | ||

| Sure and even above . if you keep the processor temp and voltage low enough then it is safe , +400 Mhz for this low power processor is easy . |

| The 2650e FSB can be up clocked to 250mhz in the Acer 5515 notebook with the equivalent internal clock at 2.0ghz at standard 1.0v using Systool. Above this heat starts to become an issue. |
