Motherboards and video cards producers in the last two years try to increase the longevity of their products with qualitative element base, and also to improve the energy consumption control mechanisms . For example, motherboard can already change the quantity of active power phases in order to increase the energy EFFICIENCY. Last week gigabyte company presented the motherboard series : ultra durable 3, which develops all traditions of the last years. First , this is the first in the consumer segment motherboard series , which use copper layers with 70 mcm thickness for both power and grounding layers , which ensures a considerable reduction in the computer operating temperature , increase in the energy-effectiveness and improvement in the system operational stability under the overclocked conditions. In the majority of usual motherboard all copper layers have a thickness of 35 mcm. The doubled copper layer thickness will provides a more effective cooling for processor and components . Gigabyte motherboards ( ultra durable 3 ) allow to reduce the operating temperatures to 50 degree Celsius in comparison with usual motherboards. Furthermore, the doubled copper layer thickness reduces the motherboard impedance by 50%.  The less the resistance chain , the less energy is expended . In gigabyte series ultra durable 3 this means that the energy losses are reduced by 50%. The doubled copper layer ensures also a improvement in the signal quality, and, therefore, the system operational stability and larger resource for overclock . The technology gigabyte dynamic energy saver advanced is realized with the improved calculations algorithm  , which ensures a more precision of energy consumption regime .  Due to the support of VRD 11.1 technology DES advanced allow to switch the computer load to first speed (1 Gear  phase), in this case the computer energy consumption substantially decreases. For the first speed it is necessary to use 45 NM processor, which supports  PSI - signal for example. In the series ultra durable 3 entered the following motherboard models : GA -EP45-UD3p, GA -EP43-Ud3, GA -EP45T-UD3r, GA -EP45-UD3r, GA -EP45C-UD3r, GA -EP45T-UD3a, GA -EP45-Ud3, GA -EP45C-Ud3, GA -EP45T-Ud3, GA -EP43-UD3r and GA -EP43C-Ud3.
